A thorough vacuuming will keep fitted carpets looking clean, but to remove ingrained dirt, hair, dander and pollen they need a professional deep clean.
This is especially true if you suffer from allergies.
Here’s what to expect from our professional carpet cleaning process for fitted carpets.
Our four-step professional carpet cleaning process
Our process is straightforward but highly effective.
We are happy to explain the process to clients, so they know what to expect and can plan their day around the cleaning.
If your carpet contains sensitive fibres, the process may be altered slightly to avoid damage or discolouration.
Step 1: Steam cleaning
Our industrial steam cleaner vacuums and sanitises your carpet to remove loose dirt, fur, dust and pollen from deep within the fibres.
Step 2: Spot cleaning stains and marks
Any stains or marks are removed by hand with a variety of stain-removal products.
Extra attention is paid to high traffic areas, which are usually the dirtiest.
Step 3: Cleaning with non-residue carpet cleaner
The whole carpet is cleaned with our non-residue professional carpet cleaner.
This process cleans the fibres and removes ingrained dirt and dander.
It also kills any microscopic bugs that are making your carpet their home.
Step 4: Final vacuum and air dry
Your carpets are given a thorough vacuum before being left to air dry.
Air drying is the safest way to avoid shrinkage or damage to carpet fibres.
Most fitted carpets are dry to the touch within six to 12 hours.
